Cupid

Tell me about your dream weekend away…

Where would you want to go

Aphrodite

With u…

Anywhere with u

Cupid

I want to see Paris…

I want to take long walks with you

Sit at cafes and gossip about the people around us

Aphrodite

I’d love that

Cupid

We’ll visit Eiffel and fall in love with one another

…and with Paris

Aphrodite

oh my

I can imagine it already

Cupid

We’ll visit a boulangerie and pick choice croissants…

sit on a curb on Champs-Elysee

and savor the delight with our lips and tongues

We’ll go to Fête de la Musique…

my arms around you as we listen

to tunes

of love

of a beautiful tomorrow

of forever and amens

We shall take a boat across the Seine

pretending to count goldfish

making wishes…

whispering them to one another

so no one else can hear

We shall fall in love

make love

be in love

under the Parisian moon

Aphrodite

How wonderful that would be…

Cupid

Oh my heart be still

Or maybe not

Aphrodite

I could stay there forever

Wrapped in ur arms

Cupid

Like 2 slices of bread

embracing a slice of ham

Aphrodite

Yes, like that

  1. My favourite parts: ‘of forever and amens’ ; ‘oh my heart be still, or maybe not’.
    Brilliant, I say!

I craved for Paris before this piece. Now I wouldn’t die before seeing you Seine… of course in HIS arms.

  2. Oh hooray. I am allowed to leave a comment today. That was surprisingly difficult!

    Thanks for your patience!

This was a splendidly romantic post.

I think sometimes on a weekend I’d like to have some alone time…check into a lovely hotel, call room service and just exist in the quiet.

Thank you for linking your thoughts of a perfect weekend.

    A+
